Floyd P. "Pat" Gaster, 66, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away, Sunday, January 17, 2016.
Pat was born in Findlay, Ohio to Floyd H. and the late Donna L. (Patterson) Gaster, his father survives him in Nevada, Ohio.
Pat was a 1968 graduate of Bowling Green City Schools. After graduation, Pat enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country proudly in the Vietnam War. His interest in the United States Navy led to his Navy career for over 24 years where he earned numerous honors and awards along with traveling the world. William was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to Gerold and Naomi (Risser) Geahlen; his father survives in Bowling Green, Ohio. Also surviving are four daughters: Sarah Geahlen of Fostoria, Ohio; Michelle Schurger of Custar, Ohio; Heather Smith of Weston, Ohio; and Billie Jo Hoy of Bowling Green, Ohio; a sister: Cheryl Robinson of Weston, Ohio; a brother: Gary Geahlen of Weston, Ohio; his fiancee Sharon Sutton of Perrysburg, Ohio; and 5 grandchildren. Gibbon, Miss Lynn; passed away August 2, 2023, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, at the age of 73.
Lynn was a long-time employee of the Peterborough Public Library and resident of Princess Gardens Retirement Residence. She will be remembered by her family, dear friend Charlene Steele, and the residents and staff of Princess Gardens.
A memorial celebration will be held in the Fireside Lounge at Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street, Peterborough, on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 11:00 am.
