William Geahlen, 59 of Perrysburg, Ohio died Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
William was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to Gerold and Naomi (Risser) Geahlen; his father survives in Bowling Green, Ohio. Also surviving are four daughters: Sarah Geahlen of Fostoria, Ohio; Michelle Schurger of Custar, Ohio; Heather Smith of Weston, Ohio; and Billie Jo Hoy of Bowling Green, Ohio; a sister: Cheryl Robinson of Weston, Ohio; a brother: Gary Geahlen of Weston, Ohio; his fiancee Sharon Sutton of Perrysburg, Ohio; and 5 grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his mother and two sisters.
William worked for many years as a truck driver. He enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers baseball games and Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. NASCAR races. William also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music, fishing and camping. He loved his dogs dearly.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 9:00 AM until the time of Service at 11:00 AM in the Remembrance Chapel of the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402; Tele: 419/352-2171. Burial will follow in the West Millgrove Cemetery.
