Shirley A. Horine, 65, of Bowling Green passed away Thursday June 11, 2015.
Shirley was born in McClure, Ohio to the late Roy and Mildred (Councelman) Parker Sr. Shirley is survived by her daughters: Kim Martin of Bowling Green and Shelley Horine of Perrysburg; 2 grandchildren: Kristina and Derek Martin and her sister in-law Jaci Parker. She was preceded in death by her brother Roy Parker Jr and her best friend Kathy Schumacher.
Shirley was a cook at the Wood County Sheriff Department and loved camping, shopping and going to the casino where she enjoyed playing the slot machines. Shirley was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and also enjoyed collecting Wizard of Oz and Elvis memorabilia. Shirley loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who her pride and joy.
A Graveside Service will be held in Shirley's honor on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Wood County Memory Gardens, Liberty Hi Rd, Bowling Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's honor to the charity of the donors' choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Deck-Hannneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
